Watts Dental Honduras Mission Trip 2026: Bringing Smiles, Hope, and Healing

At Watts Dental, we believe dentistry is about more than healthy teeth—it’s about changing lives.

That belief has always guided our commitment to serving our local communities and supporting global initiatives that create meaningful impact. In September 2026, our team will take that mission even further as we partner with Solanus Medical Mission for our first-ever mission trip together to Honduras.

This special outreach effort will provide essential dental care, oral health education, patient resources, and compassionate support to underserved communities that have limited access to healthcare services. Our goal is simple: to bring hope through healthy smiles and make a lasting difference, one patient at a time.

Why Honduras?

Access to quality dental care remains a challenge in many parts of Honduras. Preventable dental conditions often go untreated due to limited resources, lack of access to providers, and economic barriers. Through this mission trip, our team will help bridge that gap by delivering much-needed dental services while supporting broader community health initiatives.

By partnering with Solanus Medical Mission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving underserved communities in Honduras and around the world, we will be able to reach individuals and families who otherwise may not have access to dental treatment and oral health education.

What We’ll Be Doing

During our week-long mission trip, the Watts Dental team and volunteers will focus on several key areas:

  • Dental Care: Providing cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other treatments to relieve pain and improve oral health.
  • Patient Resources: Distributing oral hygiene supplies and educational materials that encourage long-term healthy habits.
  • Community Outreach: Serving more than 300 individuals in need of dental care.
  • Hope & Compassion: Building relationships, encouraging families, and supporting communities through service.

More Than Dentistry—A Mission of Service

Giving back has always been part of the Watts Dental culture. Whether through community outreach, veteran appreciation events, charitable partnerships, or global impact initiatives, our team believes that every smile can create positive change. This mission trip reflects the values that drive our practice every day: compassion, service, integrity, and a commitment to helping those who need it most.

Through our partnership with organizations focused on meaningful impact, we’ve seen firsthand how small acts of kindness can create lasting change for individuals, families, and entire communities. This mission trip represents another opportunity to extend that impact beyond our local community and into the lives of people who need it most. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

I consider Watts Dental a very social environment. It's an honor to have people respect serviceman. It makes me feel more like an individual person instead of an outcast. Just recognizing Veterans is phenomenal.

Gary R. - Army

I was apprehensive about coming because I didn't think anyone cared about Veterans, so I was excited to come. I was very happy with what I received. I appreciated all the care I received while I was here.

Jonathan F. - Marine Corps

Everyone was very energetic and enthusiastic. Very kind and welcoming. I liked their style.

I love these people that are willing to do something for people like us. To step up and take some responsibility and show us some care and love. Thank you and god bless.

Today was a good event. It's great for them to take care of the vets. I haven't had a dental exam in a few years. I'm glad you guys did it.
